I cant get the smile off my face! I am so excited and honoured to have won second prize in the 2015 Pyrmont Art Prize, for my piece “Autumn”.

Thank you to the wonderful Lesley Dimmick, from the Tap Gallery, who works tirelessly to support artists and promote our skills, both at the Tap Gallery and in the community. Without her huge effort to transport, hang, pack and re-hang the works over the two days of the festival, none of the art would have been seen by the 30,000 visitors to the event.Thank you too, to the judges, Dr Stephen Little, Head of Painting at the National Art School Sydney, Mr Fergus Tan, Principal of Art Platform and Mrs Mona W. Goubran, Principal and Founder of Creative Art School. Finally a big thanks to the Bendigo Bank Pyrmont, for sponsoring the Pyrmont Art Prize and the Pyrmont- Ultimo Chamber of Commerce for the awesome plaque which will take pride of place on my studio wall and all the other festival sponsors.

The prize money will go to great use,helping to fund my upcoming exhibition in August 2015, at the Gauge Gallery Glebe.
